ATTENTION:

Before installing your new unit, please make sure that it is the correct compressor. Units which have been fitted will not be accepted back for credit. It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that the unit is correct for the application prior to fitting. Before installing your new compressor, it must be clear what the cause of failure was on the previous unit. To prevent damage to the new compressor and before it is installed, any defective A/C components should be replaced and checked for contamination. “BLACK DEATH” will damage a new compressor and void all warranty for compressor.

WE RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING:
The expansion valve be replaced as well as the condenser. The receiver drier, accumulator or desiccant bag is replaced.
An oil balance is done, A/C system is flushed only using approved flushing agents.

All our parts come with a one year manufacture warranty. The warranty period on all products commences from the date of purchase. All claims must be made within the relevant warranty period. The buyer is liable for the return shipping cost to Oz Cool Auto Parts. The item will be assessed and the client will be contacted accordingly. If the item is found to be faulty, Oz Cool Auto Parts will replace the item and ship to the client at no extra cost.

To initiate a claim for returned items, you need to provide a reason for your return. To return an item successfully please include your contact details, an in detail explanation as well as proof of purchase. Without this essential information, the assessment of your claim may experience delays. It’s important to note that the warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from incorrect or faulty fitment, contamination by foreign materials (such as water and oil), or any misuse or abuse of the products. When returning items for warranty, they will undergo testing, and we retain the right to offer repair, exchange, or refund.

Installation must be carried out by a licensed ARC technician, and proof of this is mandatory for warranty claims. Evidence of receiver drier replacement and system flush is required for warranty consideration. All compressors from Oz Cool Auto Parts are specifically designed for use with R134a and R1234yf. Any use of hydrocarbon refrigerant will result in an immediate voiding of the warranty. This will be verified upon the compressor’s return for warranty purposes. It is the responsibility of the installer to confirm the suitability of the compressor for the intended application prior to installation, as fitted units will not be accepted for a refund.
