Warranty
ATTENTION:
Before installing your new unit, please make sure that it is the correct part. Parts which have been fitted will not be accepted back for credit.
AC COMPRESSORS
It is the responsibility of the installer to confirm the suitability of the compressor prior to installation, as fitted units will not be accepted for a refund. Before installing your new compressor, it must be clear what the cause of failure was on the previous unit. To prevent damage to the new compressor and before it is installed, any defective AC components must be replaced and checked for contamination. “BLACK DEATH” will damage a new compressor and void all warranty. Before installing our AC Compressors, the system needs to be flushed using only approved flushing agents.
The Condenser, Receiver Drier and Expansion Valve cannot be flushed and must always be replaced. A tax invoice as proof of oil flushing and part replacements from a Licensed ARC technician is required for Warranty purposes. Failure to comply will result in the Warranty Eligibility not met.
Our compressors come pre filled with oil. Oil balancing must be done before installing your new compressor. If a new compressor was installed with no oil balancing carried out, the extra lubricating oil will cause excessive high side pressures and potentially damage the new compressor, therefore the compressor is not covered under warranty.
Warranty does not apply to failure or damage caused by incorrect fitment, foreign material contamination or using alternative refrigerants like Hychill.
All our parts come with a one year manufacture warranty. The warranty period on all products commences from the date of purchase. All claims must be made within the relevant warranty period. The buyer is liable for the return shipping cost to Oz Cool Auto Parts. The item will be assessed by a Technician and the client will be contacted accordingly. If the item is found to be faulty, Oz Cool Auto Parts will replace the item and ship to the client at no extra cost.
To initiate a claim for returned items, you need to provide a reason for your return. To return an item successfully, include your contact details, in detail explanation as well as proof of purchase. Without this essential information, the assessment of your claim may experience delays. When returning items for warranty, they will undergo testing, and we retain the right to offer repair, exchange, or refund.
Installation must be carried out by a licensed ARC technician, and proof of this is mandatory for warranty claims. Evidence of condenser, receiver drier and Expansion Valve replacement and system flush is required for warranty consideration. All compressors from Oz Cool Auto Parts are specifically designed for use with R134a and R1234yf. Any use of hydrocarbon refrigerant will result in an immediate voiding of the warranty. This will be verified upon the compressor’s return for warranty purposes.
